The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza (right) today met with the President of Guyana, Donald Ramotar (second from left) in New York, within the framework of the 68th United Nations General Assembly.A release from the OAS said that during the meeting, the two discussed the importance of the Electoral Observation Missions deployed by the hemispheric Organization, the impact of climate change and trade policies in member states and the progress towards the Millenium Development Goals, among other issues.
