Eight-year-old Jamaica girl shot dead in bar

(Jamaica Observer) MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – An eight year old girl, Imani Green, was shot and killed in Duncans, Trelawny Friday night.

Reports from the police are that about 8:30pm Green was at Pinky’s Bar in Duncans, apparently with relatives, when a gunman came into the establishment and opened fire hitting Green and three other people.

The child was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries while the other victims whose names have not yet been released are in stable condition.

The police have not yet established a motive for the shooting.
