Police say that 26 year old Floyd Harris of Plaisance has been charged with the murder of 71-year-old businessman Deryck Cox.
Harris, Cox’s nephew, appeared in the Sparendaam Magistrates court on December 26, 2012 before Magistrate Alex Moore who
remanded him to prison until February 4.
Cox, also known as “Backatoo” was shot dead by gunmen on December 22 at the entrance of his Plaisance shop.
