The JR Burgers fast food franchise yesterday commissioned its new building at its Sandy Babb Street Kitty location boasting now, in addition to its famous burger outlet, a bar, a restaurant and drive-thru service.
The new building saw an investment of some US$1 million ($200 million) and owner of the establishment Jad Rahaman said his fast food dining service will be second to none both locally and internationally.
The three-storey building houses the JR Burgers fast food service on its ground floor and the Altitude Cocktail Bar on the top floor. By April, customers will be able to dine at the Signature Restaurant on the second floor.
While the drive through is completed it is not yet operational. Rahaman said it will be functional in the three weeks.
Opening times vary for each section. The JR Burgers outlet opens as normal from 9 am to 11 pm on weekdays and 9 am to midnight on weekends and holidays. The Altitude bar opens its doors from Wednesday to Sunday from 5 pm on weekdays and 3 pm on weekends. It closes at midnight.
