German’s Restaurant goes green

German’s Restaurant, New Market Street has replaced all Styrofoam take-away containers with more environmentally-friendly biodegradable containers.

A release from the restaurant said it has committed to contributing positively to the community and environment as a result of customer requests and also because of the observed devastating impacts of improperly disposed Styrofoam on the environment, citing blocked drains as an example.
