Brazilian woman found dead at Bartica

The body of a female Brazilian national was yesterday removed by police from a house in Second Avenue, Bartica.

The police today identified the woman as Elisangla Da Silva Figuerado, 34 years.

A statement said that at about 2115h last night, the victim’s body was found in her home at Second Avenue, Bartica, with her tongue protruding from her mouth.

The details surrounding her death are unclear. Sources say the corpse appeared bloated and the face and one of her hands had turned black.
Investigations are ongoing.
