GINA said that according to Minister Ali, a site visit was conducted by the CH&PA Engineers and the Chairman of the IMC Linden Town Council Orin Gordon to select the roads for paving, in keeping with CH&PA’s preparatory approach with the involvement of stakeholders.  This information was incorporated into the design report that was submitted to the IDB for its no objection.

The written response said that the tender for the project was published on February 16, 2013, and was scheduled to be opened March 19, 2013.
According to GINA, Minister Ali’s response stated that meanwhile the Housing Ministry had commenced work on Phase 3 Amelia’s Ward, in response to the demand for lots in Region 10. In Phase 3, 90 percent of its infrastructural works has been completed including the main access roads being surfaced with an asphalted concrete and the tertiary roads being surfaced with crusher run and laterite/white sand.
