The University of Guyana congratulates all the successful students who wrote the 2013 CSEC examinations, on completing this first step of their future careers.
A release from UG said that those students who had applied to UG pending their CSEC results are reminded to take in their examination slips before August 18 in order to complete their applications. Additionally, it said that students, who would now like to apply, are invited to visit the UG website – www.uog.edu.gy – to see the programmes that are available. Applications close at midnight on August 18 – the last day for late applications.
The Opening Ceremony for the 2013-2014 academic year will be held on Friday, August 23 at 5:00 pm in the George Walcott Lecture Theatre.
The university administration is inviting new and continuing students to attend.
The first semester will begin on August 26, 2013.
