Over the next three months rehabilitation works and the installation of delivery and force mains will be executed on Louisa Row (between Sussex and Hadfield streets); Sussex Street (between Louisa Row and John Street); Smythe Street (between Sussex and Croal streets);  Wellington Street (between Croal and Church streets); Waterloo Street (between Church and New Market streets); New Market Street (between Waterloo and Thomas streets); Thomas Street (between New Market and Middle streets); Middle Street (between Thomas and East streets); East Street (between New Market and Middle streets); New Market street to the junction of Light and Second streets, Alberttown; Light Street from Second Street, Alberttown to Hadfield Street; Hadfield Street (between Light and Middle streets); Cooper Street, Albouystown and Regent Street (between New Garden and Light streets).

GWI also advises residents in the stated areas that in addition to the traffic diversions they are likely to experience noise nuisance from the breaking of roads and noise associated with the use of heavy equipment. The company is appealing to customers for their patience and partnership during the execution of the programme which “will result in significantly minimising sewage overflows and other problems association with the sanitation system,” the press release said.
