Woman charged with threatening romantic rival

A 19-year-old woman was yesterday accused of threatening to kill her ex-lover’s current partner.

At the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, Chelsea Morris, of Lot 10 David Rose Street, South Ruimveldt Gardens was charged with threatening Anita Ferreira on November 26, at Stabroek, Georgetown. It was also alleged that on the same day she used abusive language to Ferreira.

Morris pleaded not guilty to both charges when she appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman.
