Vehicle fraud accused on $300,000 bail

Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry granted $300,000 bail to an Annandale man arraigned in court on Friday on fraud charges after he allegedly pretended to be in the capacity to sell three motor vehicles and accepted money from prospective buyers.

Raphael Mohammed, of 52 Annandale Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara, pleaded not guilty to the charges when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
