Digicel spreads Christmas cheer at Ptolemy Reid centre party

Digicel teamed up with Santa and his elves to bring Christmas cheer to the children and staff at the Ptolemy Reid Rehabili-tation Centre (PRRC) when it hosted its annual Christmas party on Friday.

More than 70 children from the centre were given toys and other treats for the holiday season through the Digicel sponsored Christmas party held annually, the company said in a press release.

According to Cynthia Massay, director at the centre, “Digicel is part of our family here at the PRRC, so having family over at Christmas time is a very joyous thing…we really enjoy Digicel’s company at this special time of year.”

Digicel Events and Sponsorship Manager Gavin Hope noted that the company has participated in spreading Christmas cheer at the centre for five years now.

“…It has been nothing but joy and pleasure to bring laughter and happiness to the children at the PRRC. The children make it Christmas for us, the joy of the season is to see those beautiful smiles on their faces,” Hope said.

In addition, as part of its ‘Brighten Someone’s Christmas’ campaign, Digicel will be spreading Christmas cheer with children across the country. To date, the company has visited regions One, Two, Seven and Ten to celebrate the season with children.
