Body of man found at Ruby Koker with suspected bullet wounds

The body of a man of East Indian descent was found in the vicinity of the Ruby Koker, West Bank Demerara, yesterday afternoon with suspected gunshot wounds, police say.

Up to 10:30pm, the body was at the Ezekiel’s Funeral Parlour, Best Road, Vreed-en-Hoop, and yet to be identified.

According to a police press release, the victim appeared to be in the late thirties, fair in complexion and about 5ft 9” in height.

It was further stated that the man bore the tattoos “Rebecca” on the left hand and “Love” on the right hand.

Police are investigating.
