Guyana seeking US Parks help for protected areas

The Government of Guyana is partnering with the South Florida National Parks Trust to strengthen the functioning of the Protected Areas Commis-sion, and the National Protected Areas Trust Fund.

A release from the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment yesterday said that the South Florida National Parks Trust has supported National Parks in South Florida since 2002, and has broad experience in environmental education and resource protection among other areas.
