The police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a miner whose name has been given as Clement David of Baramita, NWD, and whose body was found with marks of violence to the head at about 0730h. today on the roadway at Baramita.
The body is at the Port Kaituma Hospital Mortuary. A number of miners have been murdered this year following drunken arguments and robberies.
