Hague man stabbed to death over $1,000

The police say they are investigating the murder of Percival Williams, 43 years, of Hague, WCD, which occurred at about 1900h last night at the Parika Stelling, EBE.

Investigations have revealed that Williams and a woman had an argument over $1,000 which she had allegedly given to him to purchase a meal for her and which he had apparently converted to his own use. During the argument he was stabbed to his chest by the woman and was pronounced DOA at the Leonora Cottage Hospital, the police said.

The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
