Cotton Tree biker dies after slamming into pole

A 37-year-old Cotton Tree man died in an accident yesterday morning after he had left a wedding party.

Police said that around 3:20am yesterday, Fazal Baksh was riding a motorcycle along the main road at D’Edward Village, WCB, when he lost control of it and collided with a utility pole. He sustained injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Fort Wellington Hospital.

Investigations are in progress.
