Strange hieroglyphs?

Dear Editor,
Someone needs to take note of the prehistoric signs shown on the bridge separating La Penitence from Charlestown. Look at these carefully and imagine those who did the older ones perhaps had the same complex mentality as our Guyanese.

Interpretation and purpose were ascribed to earlier wall paintings, can we not do the same with these rich drawings and symbols found right in our midst?
Sorry that a picture could not be supplied to accompany this letter. Maybe a newspaper photographer will find this both curious and entertaining.

The buck stops at someone

Dear Editor, Antonio and Joshua George, victims of the fire which engulfed the Drop-In Centre were laid to rest recently. In the total confusion which ensued, during the fire one of the children remembered his brother was not with him, and paid the extreme sacrifice.
