Dear Editor,
I am a resident of Non Pareil on the East Coast of Demerara. On the evening of Sunday, January 27, 2013 a show was held in the next village, namely Melanie.
Apart from the noise that went on until 2 am in the morning, the DJ was most distasteful, as he kept shouting at the top of his voice and hollering, “Oh Jesus Christ, Oh Jesus Christ” and “Oh s..t,” Oh s..t.”
Now, I would like to know what Jesus Christ had to do with such a lawless show and I am sure if he wanted to act, he could have certainly chosen some way to bring such a show to an abrupt end.
