Dear Editor,
There is a health centre at Britannia village West Coast Berbice, with a house for a medex. The villagers said that for over 10 years this house has been empty. People from Pln Brahn to maybe Number 30 Village, go to this health centre; in cases of emergency they can go to the medex rather than the Fort Wellington Hospital. The government should bring someone living at some distance to serve at this health centre, because they get a free house and don’t have to pay rent.
