GT&T should go back to ‘Dollar a Minute’

Dear Editor,

I was a faithful GT&T user. My first cellular phone was GT&T and I remained ‘true to the blue’ from then. I encouraged all my colleagues to switch to the blue network and some did.

When I heard of the new promotion called ‘After 2 belongs to u’ I was excited. At last, I had more to boast about my blue network! Shockingly, I found this to be just a big slap in the face when I learnt that this was not really a promotion. This was just a new system put in place to rob me of my hard earned cash. With the previous ‘Dollar a Minute,’ I spent just $500 and got 240 minutes of talk time to GT&T numbers daily. With this new system ‘After 2 belongs to u,’ I spend $500 and get around 108 minutes of talk time, if my calls are not constantly dropped by this network with the ‘strongest signal.’ I have to constantly check my credit since I have no idea how to keep track of how many free minutes I’m left with. I’m frustrated to say the least, and very disappointed in this new system. I want value for my money.

I’m calling on GT&T to go back to the old ‘Dollar a Minute’ system since after 2 now belongs to You, GT&T and not me. GT&T will continue to lose their customers if they don’t get their act together.

Yours faithfully,
S Phillips
