Lusignan defence

Dear Editor,
I find myself being asked by potential donors and supporters of the AFC to explain the decision by Mr Nigel Hughes to defend one of the accused in the case of the Lusignan massacre.

It is understood that everyone is considered innocent until proven guilty and that everyone is entitled to legal representation in a court of law, but given the fact that Mr Nigel Hughes is also the Chairman of the AFC, many see the decision to defend the accused to be a misjudgement.
Yours faithfully,
C Singh
