NSC stages Mashramani Domino competition for the disabled

The National Sports Commission (NSC) will be sponsoring a Mashramani dominoes competition for persons with disabilities in Region 2 on the Essequibo Coast.

The competition which gets underway today will end on Sunday.

The competition will be coordinated by sports organiser Wilton Spencer who will be in Essequibo during the period to conduct meetings run off the competition.

Spencer is expected to hold meetings with a view towards establishing a Sports Club for persons with disabilities.

The semi-finals and finals of the competitions will be Saturday and Sunday at CBR Unit, Queenstown from 09:30h. Prizes will be given to the winning and runner-up teams, top scorer in the final and the person sharing the first love in the final.

All persons with disabilities are invited.
