Elan Rahaman and Leianna Chung won the boys and girls’ Under-11 singles titles when the National Sports Commission all age badminton tournament commenced on Saturday at the Queen’s College courts.
In the boys’ U-11 final Rahaman defeated Omar Samad 21-3 while Chung got past Rebecca Ramlall 21-17 in the girls’ U-11 final.
The girls’U-13 final was won by Priyanna Ramdhani who defeated Shrewda Tiwari 21-2 who also won the girls’U15 final by defeating Ambika Ramraj 21-6, 21-11.
Also completed was the boys’ U19 final which was won by Narayan Ramdhani 21-12, 21-3 over Cecil Abrams.
The U-15, U17 boys and U21 boys’ categories along with the U17 girls’ category will be completed today.
