Super50 matches shifted for test cricket

ST.JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC-Three Round four matches in the Regional Super50 competition have been shifted to accommodate the start of the test series between West Indies and Zimbabwe in Barbados. The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced  yesterday that the matches, originally scheduled to be played next Tuesday March 12, have been brought forward to March 11. The WICB says the change is necessary to avoid a clash since the West Indies versus Zimbabwe First Test commences March 12 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

The venues, match officials and start times for the Super50 matches remain unchanged, the WICB statement said.

Trinidad and Tobago plays Guyana at Queens Park Oval and Combined Campuses and Colleges take on Leeward islands at 3Ws Oval in two day/night encounters that begin at 2pm local time .

The third match featuring Jamaica and the Windwards at Grenada National Stadium will be played during the day and is slated to begin at 9:30am.

Following Round 4 there will be a mid-season break.
The Super50 will resume on March 21st with three matches in Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica.
