Eastman replaces Antoine

Former European middleweight champion, Howard ‘Battersea Bomber’ Eastman will replace Barbadian Miguel ‘Hands of Stone’ Antoine in next month’s ‘Firestorm’ card set for the Princess Hotel.
Eastman will take on Jamaican Sakima Mullings for the vacant WBC CABOFE welterweight title.

According to the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) Antoine, who has a record of 17 wins, one loss and a draw, failed to reach certain requirements for the April 20 ring date.

Mullings, 30 who has a record of 11 wins and a loss will go against the battle tested Eastman (46 wins, 11 losses) with the winner going on to compete in the WBC Cup which will box off in June.
The card will be headlined by undefeated three-division title holder, Clive ‘The Punisher’ Atwell’s battle against Venezuelan, Raphael Hernandez.
Atwell and Hernandez will engage in a featherweight affair for the WBC CABOFE belt and also an opportunity to enter the WBC Cup.

Other bouts on the card will see Elton ‘The Bully’ Dharry facing Hewley Robertson for the national bantamweight title while Gladwin Dorway will oppose Mark Austin for the vacant national junior middleweight crown.
The card will also include two amateur bouts involving two females and the crowd pleasing slugger Nandkumar Singh who will face an opponent not yet known.
The bouts will become official with the contract signing which is set for Tuesday.
