Bakewell manager believes in Team Major

Guyana Football Federation (GFF) presidential hopeful Aubrey “Shanghai” Major seems to be garnering support in his bid for the GFF presidency come April 12.

Major, who has already received the support of former national players Kayode Mc Kinnon and Charles `Lily’ Pollard, two former Golden Jaguars, is now being endorsed by longtime sponsors of football tournaments Bakewell.

Rajindranauth Ganga, General Manager of Bakewell, says that he believes that Major and his reputable team of businessmen could govern the sport effectively.

“I couldn’t think of anyone with more years of experience or more poise to hold the position, but because he sees the sport the way most successful Regional and International Federations and Clubs see it, as a business,” said Ganga.
