Queen’s College was unable to hold off the eventual winner when the final half resumed. Ryan Hackett’s hat trick in the 51st, 56th and 65th minutes respectively boosted Lodge’s score.

Customary scorer Hackett’s first goal went directly over the Queen’s keeper, who was left standing at the 6-yards box.

Shemar Smith followed up with his goal, a corner kick shot in the 54th minute. The third goal was added shortly after by Hackett in the 56th minute.

However, a minute later, Queen’s College was able to find the nets when Shemar Britton scored their only goal in the 57th minute. At 60 minutes, the score-sheet was 3-1 in favour of Lodge as Queen’s’ attempts to redeem themselves went in vain.

Hackett completed his hat-trick with a 65th minute penalty goal while Ansal Canterbury scored the final for the winners in the 70th minute.

Earlier on Monday at the All Saints’ ground, New Amsterdam Multilateral and Canje Secondary played to a 2-all draw.  Trivette Grimmond and Godfrey Coward scored for New Amsterdam while Canje Secondary’s goals were scored by Wayne Allen.
