U-17 women footballers being evaluated

The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) has begun its preparation for the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers (WCQ) which will be held from August 19-26 in the Dominican Republic.

According to a press release from the Federation, 35 players have been identified from across Guyana for a three-day ‘Evaluation Camp’ which commenced yesterday and is expected to conclude tomorrow.

The players are presently encamped at the Kings Plaza Hotel on Main Street and will be under the watchful eyes of Head Coach Lyndon France, Assistant Coach Chevon Monchoir and Goal Keeping Coach, Ronette Cort.

Andrea Fredericks, Equipment Manager and Ayana Chase, Physiotherapist are also part of the Technical Staff.
