In the boys division Ben Meckdeci and Nyron Joseph are through to the U15 and U17 finals while in the girls section Akelia Wiltshire and Victoria Arjoon are also through to the U17 and U19 finals.
Joseph will defend his title against nemesis Nku Patrick of Trinidad and Tobago while Mekdeci is heavily tipped to cart off the boys U15 title when he comes up against Jonathan Walker of Jamaica.
Akeila Wiltshire will try to capture her second Caribbean title at the expense of Gylla McKenzie while Arjoon comes up against her rival Charlotte Knaggs in the Girls U19 final.
Guyanese players encountered some disappointments yesterday when both Steven Xavier and Jean Claude Jeffrey lost their boys U19 semi finals while Larissa Wiltshire too was beaten in the girls U17 semifinals and her brother Shomari Wiltshire lost his match in the boys U13 semi finals.
