Hikers Generals (+0) overcame a five-goal deficit to defeat Hikers U23 (+5) by an 11-7 margin in their Men’s ‘A’ division encounter as action in the Goals Galore Indoor Hockey Tournament continued at the National Gymnasium on Wednesday.

Generals would start the comeback in the second minute through a Devin Munroe conversion to the lower left hand corner of the goal.  The deficit would be reduced further to three goals as George Melville found the back of the net with a ninth-minute strike to the bottom right-hand side.

However Hikers U23 would respond in the form of Yonnick Peters in the 11th minute. Peters upon receiving the ball in the shooting arc would evade the Generals keeper before striking his low effort into the middle of the empty goal.
