Ben Meckdeci won his second Caribbean title when he won the U15 boys singles division while Nyron Joseph retained his U17 crown when the individual finals concluded on Wednesday at the Cascadia Squash courts, Trinidad and Tobago.
Meckdeci defeated Jonathan Walker 3 – 0 while Joseph got the better of Trinidad’s Nku Patrick 3 – 1.
However both Akeila Wiltshire and Victoria Arjoon lost out in their quest for the U17 and U19 girls’ titles respectively.
Akeila Wiltshire lost 1-3 to Gylla Mc Kenzie while Charlotte Knaggs defeated Arjoon 3-0.
In the girls’ U15 Classic Plate Rebecca Low beat Olivia Lindsey 3 – 2 to finish fifth while in the boys’ U13 third place play off Shomari Wiltshire beat Jasun Sairsingh 3 – 2.
In the girls’ U17 third place play off Gabby Fraser beat Larissa Wiltshire 3 – 1 while in the boys’ U19 all Guyanese third place play off Jean Claude Jeffrey beat Stephen Xavier 3 – 1
