New Amsterdam (NA) United defeated Cougars FC 4-0 in their east zone matchup when the Berbice Football Association (BFA) U20 tournament continued at the Burnham Park ground in New Amsterdam on Sunday.
Stephon Boucher opened the scoring for NA United with a 17th minute strike. The lead was then doubled 16 minutes later as Jamaal Butts found the back of the net.
Boucher would complete his brace just before half time, etching his name on the scorer’s sheet again with a 40th minute conversion and the lopsided fixture would be sealed as Sherwin Halley completed the final scoreline through a 66th minute strike.
