Heavy rainfall throughout the ancient county resulted in the postponement of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB)/New Building Society Limited 40 overs-a-side second division final between No 71 Cricket Club and the Young Warriors Cricket Club.
The match was set for Sunday last at the No. 69 ground but consistent showers plagued the start of the highly anticipated encounter. Clashing for the title are two evenly balanced teams the Young Warriors of Cumberland East Canje and Upper Corentyne’s No.71 team which has not lost a match in the round-robin competition played in 16 zones.
The final will take place at a later date.
