Colts defeat Nets in Phillip George Legacy tournament

Colts defeated Nets in their first division semi-final 62-53 when the Colts Basketball Club second annual Phillip George Legacy tournament continued on Saturday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue.

Opening a 22-12 lead in the first period, Colts would register 24 points in the second quarter to lead 46-26.

Nets would step up their game in the third quarter as they held the event hosts to a paltry eight points in the period while netting 18 points to reduce the deficit to 10 points at the end of the third quarter which saw them trailing 44-54.
