Guillen, Cooper, Augustus among the runs in Trinidad second trials

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC- Performances from opener Justin Guillen, all rounder Kevin Cooper and Jonathan Augustus highlighted Trinidad and Tobago’s second trial match as preparations continue ahead of the new cricket season starting next month.

Guillen hit a top score of 55 but his effort could not stop team B from crumbling to a sevenwicket loss against team A at the Queen’s Park Oval Sunday.

Guillen struck eight fours in his knock, which lasted 65 balls and 92 minutes as Team B were bowled out for 168 in 46.1 overs.

Team A coasted to victory in 31.2 overs on a 71 run partnership between Cooper (42 not out) and Augustus (52 not out).
