According to a press release from Headline Entertainment, this new track off his as-yet-untitled sixth studio album, due out this fall on Atlantic/VP Records, is produced by Maejor Ali, SixOne, Young Yonny & Chef Tone.

It sees Sean Paul returning to his urban roots on a track guaranteed to keep the clubs moving. Sean Paul continues to merge dancehall with various genres and the first two tastes off his new album showcase his flexibility as an artiste, moving seamlessly between pop and hip-hop while keeping his signature sound, the release said.

“I always say that dancehall has become a staple of all genres of music and I am excited to continue to show how much impact the music has had,” it quoted Sean Paul as saying. “I have been a fan of 2Chainz and Juicy J for a while and getting them together on this track made perfect sense. As always, we needed to give the fans something to dance to for the summer.”

Sean Paul’s last album, ‘Tomahawk Technique’, won him yet another Grammy nomination and saw a Top 10 debut in seven countries, including two Gold certifications.

The artiste has had a wave of classic albums that includes the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning classic ‘Dutty Rock’ and the platinum smash ‘The Trinity’, the release said. It noted his “undeniable track record for crafting hit singles as a solo artiste, including cuts like “Get Busy”, “Gimme The Light”, “Like Glue”, “We Be Burnin’” and “Temperature”.

Sean Paul has also featured on other artistes’ songs like Beyonce’s “Baby Boy”, Jay Sean’s “Do You Remember” and The Saturday’s recent #1 UK hit “What About Us”, the release added, establishing himself as one of the seminal pop voices of his generation. These successes have earned him a plethora of awards including the 2006 American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artiste and seen him tour over 100 countries, including a recent 10-city sold out tour in Germany.
