The Central Islamic Organization of Guyana (CIOG) recently made a donation of $200,000 to the Guyana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA).In this photo, Oliver Insanally, Honorary President of the GSPCA (left) receives the donation from Shaikh Zakir of the CIOG.Insanally thanked the CIOG for its generosity, noting that the donation would help the GSPCA to continue to offer low cost spay and neuter surgeries to prevent unwanted animal pregnancies in pets who undergo these procedures.
