National conversation on clean environment

A National Conversation on a clean environment hosted by the Government of Guyana through the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment was held today for members of the public to discuss challenges and opportunities to improve solid waste management in Guyana.

The event was attended by Minister of Natural Resources and the Environment, Robert M. Persaud, MP, Minister of Local Government and Regional Development (ag), Norman Whittaker, MP and environmental experts who interacted with the public as it relates to the challenges and the way forward for solid waste management in Guyana. Amerindian Village, Sophia Exhibition Complex today.
