Danielstown emancipation events

The Concerned Citizens of Danielstown on the Essequibo Coast are hosting several events as they continue to celebrate Emancipation Month.

The events commenced on August 9 with a church service and will continue up until August 16.

A special Children’s Party was held yesterday at the Danielstown Community Centre where children from the villages of La Belle Alliance to Windsor Castle were treated with a meal, party bags, games and music. Photo shows some of the children and the organisers.
