West Ruimveldt clean-up

On Friday the “Clean-Up My Country” Programme Monitoring Unit conducted inspections in the West Ruimveldt area to monitor the work that has been on going, a release from the unit said.

Work under the “Clean-Up My Country” Programme started in West Ruimveldt on August 11, 2014. Two groups comprising fifty persons from the community were contracted by the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development to spearhead the clean-up programme within West Ruimveldt. The community comprises four blocks: BLOCK ONE – Vlissengen road to Fromby Street; BLOCK TWO – Freeze Corner to Play Field Street; BLOCK THREE – Play Field Street to First Bridge Front Road and BLOCK FOUR – First Bridge Front Road to Hunter Street.
