The High Commission of Canada in partnership with the University of Guyana on Saturday hosted a Reception in honour of the DELIAN Electoral Pilot project that was carried out during the University of Guyana Students’ Society elections over the weekend.A release from the Canadian High Commission said that the non-profit organization, DELIAN Project was invited by the University of Guyana to provide donated electoral technology for its Students Society elections during the period October 1-4, 2014 using automatic ballot scan and tabulation machines.This photo shows some of the invitees at the reception held at the Canadian High Commissioner’s residence in Bel Air Gardens.
