Kwakwani logger found dead, wife among two held

A logger was found dead early this morning in front of his home at Kwakwani and his wife is among two persons detained by police, Crime Chief Seelall Persaud has confirmed.

The dead man, identified by Persaud as Quin Ferreira, of Kwakwani Airstrip Road, was found with a stab wound at around 12:45am.

Persaud said that the man’s common-law wife and a neighbour are in police as they have given accounts that need to be probed further.
