Another North Rupununi man killed during drinking argument

Police ranks were dispatched today to Katooka Village, North Rupununi, following a report received of the alleged murder of Aloysius Kaitan, 27 years, of Katooka, which occurred at about 0200h  today.

Police say it is reported that Kaitan and a group of persons were imbibing, when an argument developed during which he was fatally stabbed to his chest.

Yesterday, another man was fatally stabbed in similar circumstances. Martin Roberts, 23    years, of Kwaimatta Village, North Rupununi, died in that incident.
