The man who was shot by a Rural Constable at Annandale, East Coast Demerara on Friday morning during an attempted robbery is still alive, according to the police. A press release from the Police Public Relations Department said yesterday: “The man who was shot during an attempted robbery on Friday at the home of businessman Ishwar Jeffrey at Annandale, East Coast Demerara, was seriously injured to his face and not fatally shot as was inadvertently stated in my press release on the incident on Friday.
