Dellon Hutson, who was remanded to prison on a drug trafficking charge, was shot during a confrontation with a police rank during a raid at his house but still managed to escape, a court heard yesterday.
Hutson, 38, of 36 Hadfield Street, Lodge, pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, which was read by Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
According to the police report presented to the court by Police Prosecutor Adduni Inniss, on January 28, at 10:00 hrs, police ranks attached to the Narcotics Branch went to Huston’s home in search of narcotics.
