Last week, one snake was found in the toilet while another was found in the play area. Their presence was attributed to the state of the compound.

A source close to the school said that the snakes may have entered the school yard through a nearby vacant lot. It was explained that the land next to school was overgrown with weeds and it is believed that it is here that the snakes nest.

According to what this newspaper was told, the school compound was neglected after the St John’s Secon-dary which was housed in the same compound was relocated a year ago.
