Seven firms vie to rebuild Mosquito Hall seawall

Seven companies have submitted bids for crucial sea defence works at Mosquito Hall/Lancaster in Region 4.

This was revealed yesterday when the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board opened bids.

Last month, Kevin Samad, Chief Sea and River Defence officer, said that major reconstruction works had been planned to address the badly deteriorated seawall and dam at Mosquito Hall, East Coast Demerara, where residents feel under constant threat of flooding during high tides.

The names of the firms and their bids are as follows:
