PNCR mourns passing of Laurence Clarke

The People’s National Congress Reform says it is deeply saddened at the passing of banker Laurence Clarke at the age of 63.

In a release today, the party said that Clarke died of pancreatic cancer at a hospital in Maputo, Mozambique. Clarke had a long and distinguished banking career both locally and internationally. The party said that he was the youngest Deputy Manager of the Guyana National Cooperative Bank and a Regional Director of the World Bank.

The PNCR extended condolences to his relatives.
