The Guyana Police Force yesterday announced that up to the end of February this year, armed robbery had risen by 42% compared to the same period last year.
In a statement, it also disclosed that an overall increase of 1% in serious crimes was recorded at the end of February 2014 in comparison to the same period in 2013. The total number of reports of serious crimes made between January 01 and February 28, 2014,
